We work for private clients and public tenders alike, from a single villa to a multi-unit development.
Six services carry most of our work. Each one is run by our own people, not subcontracted wholesale.
We build residential and commercial structures from foundation through superstructure to handover, working as principal contractor throughout.
As a general contractor we carry the whole build: setting out and excavation, foundations, reinforced concrete frame, blockwork, roofing, services first fix and second fix, and finishes. Work is run by a full-time site supervisor reporting to a project manager, with materials and plant procured through our own supply chain.
We carry out site improvements, drainage, access roads, retaining structures and external works that prepare a site to be built on and keep it serviceable.
Civil works cover the ground a building sits on and everything around it — clearing and grubbing, cut and fill, drainage runs and culverts, retaining walls, hardstanding, kerbs and access roads. On developments with several units this is usually the first package on site and the one that determines whether the rest of the programme holds.
We produce architectural, structural and mechanical design drawings in-house, so the design intent and the build are held by one team.
Our design work covers architectural layouts, structural calculations and detailing, and mechanical and drainage design. Producing the drawings ourselves means the buildability questions get answered before they reach site rather than as a variation halfway through the frame.
We manage programme, cost and contract administration on behalf of the client, including subcontractor coordination and procurement.
Project schedules are developed in-house using Primavera. We handle contractor administration, subcontractor coordination, procurement of materials and equipment, and the reporting that lets a client see where their money and their programme actually are.
We take day-to-day charge of the site — sequencing trades, controlling quality, and holding the safety standard on behalf of the client.
Construction management puts our team on site as the client's agent: sequencing the trades, running the site meetings, inspecting work before it is closed up, and enforcing the safety procedures. It suits clients who have their own design team but need someone accountable standing on the slab.
We remodel and finish interiors — joinery, tiling, plastering, ceilings, painting and fit-out — to a standard that survives handover inspection.
Interior work is where a build is judged. We handle screeds and plastering, wall and floor tiling, suspended and decorative ceilings, fitted joinery, painting and decorating, and the final fit-out. Existing buildings are remodelled with the same sequence and the same supervision as new work.
We repair, strengthen and modernise existing buildings, including structural remedial work and full refurbishment.
We clear, level, drain and service undeveloped plots so they are ready to take a foundation.
We form, reinforce and pour foundations, slabs, columns, beams and staircases, with cube testing on structural pours.
We lay blockwork and stonework to line and level, from load-bearing walls to boundary and retaining structures.
We handle structural carpentry and joinery — formwork, roof carcassing, doors, frames and fitted timber.
We install water supply, storage, drainage and sewerage systems, including septic and soakaway provision.
We build the civil and structural works for electrical substations, including bases, enclosures and cable routes.
We measure, price and value construction work — bills of quantities, valuations, variations and final accounts.
